Demi-Leigh Tebow is an entrepreneur, influencer and speaker who was crowned Miss Universe and Miss South Africa in 2017. She resides in the United States with her husband, Tim and their three fur babies. Demi strives to bring compassion to hurting people and use her entrepreneurial gift and social media presence as platforms for meaningful change.

Rorisang Thandekiso was born in the Free State and went to school in the Vaal area. She studied International Relations at the University of Pretoria. She was a child star that was seen on YoTV as well as Blue Couch. She is a seasoned broadcaster, producer and content creator. Rorisang is also well-known for speaking about her faith.

Marina Auer is a graduate of UCT Medical School and spent several years working in state hospitals, before moving into private practice. She lives with her family – two teenagers, two cats, one husband – in Hillcrest, KZN. ​Single Minded, her latest novel, was shortlisted for The Island Prize in 2022.

Francois van Coke is the stage name of Francois Badenhorst. He rose to fame as the frontman of the Afrikaans rock bands Fokofpolisiekar and Van Coke Kartel. In 2015 he launched his solo music career. Hoe ek dit onthou, co-authored with Annie Klopper, is his first publication and the first time that he recounts his life story in book form.

P.P. Fourie was born in the Free State and went to school in Clarens, Bloemfontein, and Oudtshoorn. He currently lives in Wellington. His debut novel The Heart Is the Size of a Fist was release simultaneously with the Afrikaans tranlstion,’n Hart is so groot soos ’n vuis. Two suspense novels have followed: Ons skulde and Die dood van Rachel April. 

Veteran journalist, film-maker and author Jacques Pauw has won awards locally and internationally, including CNN African Journalist of the Year,  Award for Outstanding International Investigative Reporting and the Nat Nakasa award for bravery and integrity in journalism. He is the author of i.a. The President's Keepers.

 

Johannes de Villiers is an author and meditation instructor. He facilitates and presents trainings and retreats on mediation, mindfulness and positive psychology. He is also co-presenter of the programme Vol Vreugde on RSG. Johannes is a former journalist, and was also formerly lecturer in journalism at the University of Stellenbosch. 

Irma Venter is an award-winning crime writer and journalist based in Cape Town. She is the first South African writer to be published by Amazon Crossing. English editions include Circus, Blue Sunday, Hard Rain, Man Down and Red Tide. 

Deon Meyer is an internationally acclaimed writer living in Stellenbosch. His publications include thirteen novels, i.a. Spoor, 2010, 7 Dae, 2011, Kobra, 2013, Ikarus, 2015, Koors, 2016, Prooi, 2018 and Donkerdrif, 2020. Orion, Proteus and Infanta all received the ATKV Prize for Fiction and Prooi was awarded the ATKV Prize for Suspense Fiction.
