Nicole Jaekel Strauss
Biographical info
Nicole Jaekel Strauss completed her law degrees during the 1990’s at Stellenbosch University and practised law as a member of the Cape Bar.
She obtained her M.A. in Creative Writing (cum laude) under Etienne van Heerden’s supervision in 2009. She lives in Cape Town with her husband and three children.
Maal, a collection of short stories, is her debut and won the Eugène Marais Prize (2011).
