Biographical info

Prof Christina Landman joined Unisa 30 years ago, initially as lecturer in church history. These days she is the Director: Research at the Research Institute for Theology and Religion. She has seven degrees to her name – in theology and classical languages – of which two are doctoral degrees.

Her first doctorate is in church history, and deals with the relations between state and church. The second is in pastoral therapy, and is based on the counselling she did in a state hospital in a "township".
