Unwilling to put up with her boss’s sexual harassment, Carmia Basson resigns as junior reporter and accepts a job as Margo Vermeulen’s assistant. Margo is a writer who requires someone to move in with her and her grandson, Deneys, on their farm Skamanga on the KwaZulu Natal coast.
This sounds idyllic, but soon Carmia discovers that all is not well in paradise. Tasha, the neighbour’s daughter, dislikes Carmia and does everything within her power to make her life miserable.
