Doctor Serfontein’s eldest, Richard Serfontein, becomes headboy of the popular Keurboslaan school. It’s not an easy task, especially since he does not want it to seem as if his father is treating him any different than the other boys. But things quickly become much more difficult than he thought. Doctor Serfontein decides to allow four boys into the school whose misbehaviour landed them in special institutions. Headboy Richard needs to make sure the newcomers find their feet and fit in with the other boys.
