Romance
When Candy Cilliers’ parents lose everything her life is turned upside down. Now they’re deeply indebted to her uncle, Fouché Mulder, and she’s the one who has to pay their dues. Literally. He expects her to come and keep house for him somewhere out in the sticks, where he allows people, would you believe it, to shoot innocent buck with guns, plus she has to help take care of her difficult grandmother.
Candy arrives on the farm with a sprained ankle, knee-deep in family feuds, and she soon finds that her city slicker ways and rich girl airs aren’t to the liking of her “uncle” at all. Fouché is arrogant and bossy, and not her idea of a model man. On top of that he’s anything but old and he’s man enough to drive any woman wild with frustration.
