Nikki Swart knows absolutely nothing about farming. Until recently she only experienced the pleasant side of life. But unexpected circumstances leave her no choice: she will have to claim her inheritance, “half a farm” in Zambia, and start farming for a living.

The other half of the farm belongs to Jan, a rough but brilliant farmer. His only objective is to get rid of her as quickly as possible. But Nikki is not going to give up that easily; she would sooner die than face yet another failure.
