Veronica Cecil
Biographical info
Veronica Cecil was born in India during the time of the British Raj. She used to live in Rhodesia, the Congo and also South Africa. Formally a writer of radio and television plays, she became a radio journalist after the death of her husband. Veronica Cecil lives in the UK, but she returns to Southern Africa often.
She is the mother of four and grandmother of nine. This memoir, Bongo Bongo Bongo, I Don’t Wanna Leave the Congo, is her first full-length publication.
