Martinus de Beer
Biographical info

Martinus de Beer was born on 22 April 1979 in Windhoek, Namibia. Hy matriculated in 1997 at Jim Fouché High School, Bloemfontein.

After school he obtained a B.Compt degree (2000) and a B.Acc Honours degree (2002) at the University of the Free State. In 2003 he started his career as a clerk, but left the profession in 2004. He is a finalist in Human & Rousseau's I am a Writer competition. Hy made his debut in 2007 with Hemelhel.
