Dirk Jordaan
Biographical info
Dirk Jordaan grew up and matriculated in Vryheid in northern KwaZulu-Natal. He has not returned there since. Following his national service, which he doesn’t miss either, he studied BA Communications in Potchefstroom. Since then he has been a journalist for Beeld in Johannesburg. If he had the time and the money he would travel more extensively in Africa. However, he does go motorbike riding regularly to escape. Jordaan and his life partner, writer and freelance journalist Ronel Nel, live in Rietfontein, Pretoria, with two cats, three dogs and four guitars.
