Kobie van Niekerk
Biographical info
Kobie van Niekerk, born Fouché, grew up and was schooled in Despatch in the Eastern Cape, and studied at the University of Port Elizabeth and received her BA and BA Hons in Sociology there. She also obtained a diploma in Communications.
Kobie worked at Transnet as communications officer and researcher and married husband Murray in 1988. They live in Cape Town.
